Writing a research work is not a simple matter. Therefore, we have written a number of articles that will help you focus and organize your thoughts in the writing of the doctorate. These articles range from an article on the choice of the topic of the doctoral work, through an article on the process of writing, to an article that provides guidelines to writing a work for the doctoral degree after writing a professional book in the field.

Academic research at all levels (undergraduate/bachelor’s degree – seminar works, master’s degree – theses, and doctoral degree – doctoral dissertations) is intended to examine scientifically each one of the areas of our life, and its main goal is to explain to us different processes, changing trends, cultural and social developments, and so on. Therefore, before we begin to investigate a certain topic in the framework of the Ph.D. studies we are required to choose between two research methods.

The choice of the doctorate topic is the most critical stage in the writing of the research work.

For part of the population of doctorate students, this is a simple stage that comes with the decision to write a research work, since the topic has been ‘cooking’ in their minds day and night. Even if the research topic and research question are not phrased perfectly, it is at least possible to begin to work on the research proposal (to search for professional literature, to think about the research methodology, and to create the structure of the research proposal/research work).

Writing a doctoral work is a long process that begins with considerable thought, continues with reading and research, and ends with an in-depth analysis of the research results and the drawing of conclusions from the results. The acceptance to the doctorate program is based primarily on the approval of the research proposal by the different universities. The university examines its interest in the topic, the methodology, the researcher’s curriculum vitae, and its ability to identify for the topic an available and appropriate adviser.
